Palmer's Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Oil

Every evening after I shower, I oil my whole body with this oil. Initially, I got it for my thyroid scar, but it makes the body feel wonderful. It is not oily at all. It disolves right into the skin, and softens.

I found vitamin E oil was the best solution for my heels that were always dry and cracking.

Coconut, Olive, Jojoba, Natural is BEST

Why would you want to use anything on your skin that has chemicals in it? Petroleum oil made from petrol chemicals...Eucerin has so many ingreidents I can't even pronounce most. With compromised thyroid issues we should be kind to this body of ours. Use only natural products on your precious skin. Olive oil, virgin coconut oil and jojoba oil and cream are wonderful. After all the skin is the largest most absorbent part of our body. Personally I have switched to all natural soaps, shampoos, lotions, and as much chemical free food as possible. Sodium laurel sulfate or any variation is toxic. Check out Uncle Harry's naturals for some great natural products and information.

Dry Skin??

Emu oil.....I have tried so many brands of oils, lotions, creams, omegas - and one day decided to give emu oil a try. It's fantastic !! I am pretty lazy when it comes to applying lotions, but this stuff is almost sensuous.

VitaMoist and Skin So Soft

I have sworn by Avon products as a 15 year breast cancer survivor, so I knew the Vita Moist would work. My hands are the affected worst. Skin So Soft products are great for body.

Dry Skin

I use baby oil in the shower. Right before I am finished showering, I put baby oil on my skin and then rinse with water and pat dry with a towel. This is the only thing that has noticably helped my skin. At the end if the day, it still looks glowing and not dry & flaky.

Dry Skin & Hypothyroidism

Coconut oil on the hands at night is a miracle worker! No more ragged, dry, cracked bleeding around nails and no more splitting skin!

Vitamin E Oil

I "spot treat" really dry areas with vitamin E oil. This is very oily but wonderfully healing, so I use only at night, and if it's my hands (I'm a painter and use alcohol cleaner a LOT) I put on gloves for bed. :)

Coconut Oil

I use cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil. I massage it into my skin every morning after I get out of the shower. The scent is light and it really works for me. I also use it on my hair and scalp, putting it on at bedtime and then shampooing it out in the morning.

Aveeno Bab

I have been using Aveeno Baby / Fragrance Free /Soothing Relief Moisture Cream - it's worked wonders!

Organic Sesame Oil

I get this from the health food store. I put it on all of the dry areas as soon as I step out of the shower, and then blot the skin lightly with a towel afterwards. Before I leave the house each day I dab some straight out of the bottle around my eyes and lips and leave it "as is." The oil is so light it soaks in by itself and really helps smooth out those wrinkles a bit! It does not cause any breakouts on my face.

Dry Skin Woes

The things that have helped me include 1) Fish Oil, 2) Dove Nutrium Body Wash and 3) Cetaphil Creme.

Beeswax

I use homemade soaps and lotions that I make using beeswax and different oils. It works better than any commercial made lotions, with no added chemicals.

Flaxseed Oil

I was having dry eye issues. My optometrist recommended flaxseed oil and it seems to help my eyes and my skin.
