Tell Us About Your Thyroid Condition and Your Fatigue

I have had hypothyroidism for 8 years since my last child was born. I was on Armour but now have it compounded. If I miss a day, the fatigue is overwhelming.

What Are You Doing to Deal With Your Fatigue

I take my medicine. I am an alternative practitioner, so I use herbs and supplements to help with symptoms and support the thyroid. I take Siberian Ginseng and Ashwaghanda to fight the fatigue. Ashwaghanda will also nourish the adrenals. Oats will nourish the nervous system to help deal with stress better so that the adrenals do not get overwhelmed. I take kelp and coconut oil to support the thyroid. I also eat a largely predominant raw food diet which makes me feel so good! I drink Kombucha tea, which gives some energy too and it also provides enzymes, probiotics and other great nutrients to nourish the whole body.

Advice

  • Take kelp and coconut oil for thyroid support. Siberian ginseng and Aswaghanda are great for fatigue. Monitor your estrogen levels and treat as needed. Learn stress modification techniques to not deplete your adrenals. Treat adrenals as needed.
