Tell Us About Your Thyroid Condition and Your Fatigue

I have Hashimoto's and was pretty fatigued. I was on Armour, and Armour made all of my symptoms worse. I switched to Synthroid and felt better but still have symptoms that don't totally go away.

What Are You Doing to Deal With Your Fatigue

I have been trying to stick to an exercise routine several times a week. I do an aerobic/weight class. I tried to pick an exercise I enjoy doing. I think exercising regularly and trying to lose some weight and change what I eat has really helped overcome some of the fatigue. Also, I have been making myself get outside more, and I believe getting some more sunshine has really helped.

I am still ready to hit that pillow at the end of the day.

Advice

  • Find an exercise routine you enjoy. Start out slow and work your way up.
