My Review

I have been hypothyroid with Hashimotos for 16 years. I have been on diets all my life, most of them successful but could not maintain the loss until Weight Watchers. On the points system I lost over 2 stones in three months and have kept it off for the last 16 months. I recommend this method to everyone because it really works. By the way I am 76 years old.

Did you successfully lose weight on this diet?

Yes

How much weight did you lose so far?

25-50

Pros for Thyroid Patients?

Because each person is given a number of "points" each day, this allows for preferred foods. Any foods can be eaten so long as the total number of points is not exceeded each day. The weight loss gives more energy and "get up and go".

Cons for Thyroid Patients?

Even when you have lost the weight, you can never take your eye off the ball. You need to keep a constant watch or it creeps back. Surely, though, it is better to be watching your weight when you are at target than when stones overweight!

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes
