I feel so much better eating a lot of protein, and very few carbs, maybe two thin sliced sourdough (limited yeast) pieces of bread as toast with coconut oil and almond butter on it for breakfast. Otherwise, I eat meat and a few frozen vegetables. I had to give up pasta, rice, potatoes, and breads. Eating fruit was too much fructose food for the yeast I am trying to get rid of. I am lactose and casein intolerant, with Candida overgrowth, Leaky Gut, intolerance of dyes, fillers and coatings, and highly allergic to MSG, so I have a lot of dietary restrictions. I do not use sugar or soy and I take probiotics to try to heal my gut, eating whole foods as much as I can. I avoid all spices, salad dressings, sauces, anything that may have MSG. Even medicine gelatin capsules can contain MSG and I am a goner for two days.Did you successfully lose weight on this diet?
YesHow much weight did you lose so far?
10 lbs or lessPros for Thyroid Patients?
I have had no problems with the Blood Type diet. My chemical sensitivity is CFS or Fibromyalgia I think, not thyroid? I am not sure. My colon feels better and I have a dab more energy, not a lot, but a little. Maybe it will take time as I continue. I am avoiding wheat in cereals, that makes tummy feel better also.Cons for Thyroid Patients?
Any soy, I try to avoid it. It takes us hours at the grocery store, reading labels. Avoid Nutrisystem, it's full of soy! Soy,yeast and sugar are listed so sneakily on labels: it is very disgusting and disheartening.Would you recommend this to a friend?
