My Review HCG is not human growth hormone. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) has been successfully and safely used for more than 50 years. The diet industry wants you to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to repeatedly lose weight and gain it back. HCG is safe and effective and helps people permanently maintain a healthy weight. It also teaches you that low fat foods with all the artificial crap in them have only made kids and adults in the US fat. Yes, you have to change your bad habits. There is no free ride. Good fats are good for you. HCG is less than $30 a month to purchase and that is why the diet industry does not want you to know about it, as there is no money for them if you successfully lose weight and keep it off. All of the people on HCG that I know with low thyroid have reduced their medication or even gotten off their thyroid medication as a result of getting the excess weight off. You should thoroughly investigate HCG before you bash it and tell people it does not work. My doctor told me about it and I lost 100 lbs and have maintained the weight loss for over a year.
