Forest Pharmaceuticals Recalls Thyrolar
April 2003 -- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Forest Pharmaceuticals has issued a nationwide recall on Thyrolar 1/4 (liotrix tablets, USP), 100-tablet bottles.
They are from lot #60135, with an expiration date of 06/2003.
The reason that these Thyrolar ¼ tablets are being recalled is that that they are superpotent, meaning that they are delivering higher than the stated dosage.
There are 8,235 bottles that are part of this recall.
