Thyroid hormone balance has a critical role in maintaining blood pressure, but what few people know is that chronic hypothyroidism is a risk factor for hypertension, or HIGH blood pressure.
Researchers now believe that thyroid treatment can be an important factor in blood pressure control, as this abstract from the new medical journals shows.
