Which Thyroid Drug Costs the Most?

February, 2003 -- A recent survey of various online pharmacies shows that Synthroid is consistently the highest-cost thyroid medicine, followed by Unithroid. The most economical of the medicines readily available online is Armour Thyroid, which consistently runs at half to about one-third the cost of Synthroid.
