Broda Barnes Foundation Offers Innovative Endocrine Conference 9/02 That Explores Thyroid and Immune Issues for Thyroid Patients
August 2002 -- The Broda Barnes Research Foundation has scheduled an innovative program for their 2002 Fall Endocrinology Conference. For both practitioners and patients, the conference focuses on cutting-edge research and medical treatments for thyroid and endocrine dysfunctions. The conference will focus specifically on unrecognized endocrine immune defects, the importance of certain fatty acids to total health, cortisol deficiencies, immune system activation and other important issues.
Popular speakers will also address issues of interest to thyroid practitioners and patients, including, among others:

Some of the speakers include:
- David A. Brownstein, M.D. – In private practice in Farmington Hills, Michigan, David A. Brownstein, M.D. is the author of three books, The Miracle of Natural Hormones, Overcoming Thyroid Disorders and Overcoming Arthritis. He is the principal investigator on two research studies, and is a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at Wayne State University of Medicine.
