What's Going on in Trenton? Three Trenton Teens at Same School Have Thyroid Cancer
Tuesday July 11, 2006
The Trenton Journal News has covered the story of three teens who go to the same high school who all have a rare thyroid cancer. The teens' parents are asking city leaders to get involved to help determine whether environmental factors are the cause of the cancer. Thyroid cancer is not common, and rare among teens. According to the American Cancer Society, only 350 adolescents are diagnosed each year in the U.S. What's in the air or water in Trenton that's affecting these teens?

All the kids in the district should be checked!
As a supporter of THYKIDZ.com and a friend of families going thru Thyroid cancer I encourage everyone I meet to go get checked, please listen to those mothers who are dealing with this disease on a daily basis with their own children! They are here to find out WHY? and to help others be aware of the issues here in Trenton. Support your neighbors, friends and families. Encourage others to get tested!!
