Mary–just checked the “Doctors Who Prescribe Armour Thyroid” list on About.com. I wanted you to know that at least 2 of the doctors listed for MA are no longer available or appropriate. Dr. Joseph Py (Amesbury, MA) is no longer practicing. Dr. Timothy Stryker (Stoneham, MA) has been accused of murder of a previous girlfriend and, as best I can tell, is currently out of jail on bail, practicing medicine. He is also being investigated for supplying patients with unnecessary Oxycontin scrips. Not sure he should be on the list!
Thanks for your info, though–it’s very helpful!
