One of my favorite doctors anywhere, Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, was on Good Morning America recently. Jacob is an expert on chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and fatigue-related conditions, including hypothyroidism. He talked about what he calls the "human energy crisis" (don't you love that?) and three essential things we can do to improve energy! A great interview, with excellent advice that certainly applies to thyroid patients struggling with fatigue. Watch it now!

I like Dr.T. and have his book… I also have no thyroid (haven’t for 10 years — take and LOVE Armour),was diagnosed with CFIDS/FMS and became disabled 2 years ago.
This segment on GMA, IMHO, again, did not stress the potential seriousness of a CFIDS diagnosis and the difficulty of getting everything in balance. His comments were “too light” IMHO. He left out the “I” (Infections) in is acronnym “SHINE”…all statements implied implied it’s easy to make it all go away…it’s not and can take years. Good plug for his book, but a negative for those of us who suffer.
Is there an alternative to Dr. T’s Energy Revitalization System vit drink that does not contain soy?
I would love to have heard the interview, since I’m hypothyroid with adrenal exhaustion, CFS/Fibromyalgia, but the page with the interview would not load.
