The month of September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month. To help commemorate the month, I've put together the latest statistics on thyroid cancer in the U.S. as well as information about the upcoming Thyroid Cancer Survivors Association (ThyCa) annual conference.

You'll also find step-by-step instructions on how to do a simple self-exam known as the "Thyroid Neck Check." Examining your neck can in some cases help you find lumps or enlargements in the neck that may point to thyroid conditions, including nodules, goiter and thyroid cancer.

Find out about thyroid cancer, and the Thyroid Neck Check now.
