(1) Janice Bigby says:

I am another experiencing difficulties with the new drug including eye problems, signs of hypothyroidisim and palpitations. I have needed one increase since being on the drug which is only six months and seems strange when I had an increase just before the drug became available. I have been taking thyroixine for 25 years with no difficulties.

(2) Pauline says:

I have almost identical symptoms to Janice. I was perfectly ok with my old prescription, that is until last Oct (07) when it all changed. I have also suffered from restless leg syndrome for many years but eltroxin seemed to have made it much worse!! My legs have gone very weak and am not able to stand for very long or walk very far. I feel my health has gone right down hill since then. In fact my quality of life is almost non-existant. I struggle to get out of bed in the morning, I struggle through the day, indeed it’s almost a struggle to go to bed of a night time.
