Mylan Receives FDA Approval for Generic Levothyroxine

Mylan Laboratories Inc. has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted final approval for Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s Abbreviated New Drug Application for levothyroxine sodium tablets in a variety of popular strengths. The drugs are the generic version of Abbott Laboratories' Synthroid.
