Levoxyl Just Recalled AGAIN...and AGAIN

Thyroid drug Levoxyl has been recalled again. As happened earlier this year, bottles labelled as Levoxyl 112mcg, a popular dosage size, actually had the drug Soloxine in the 0.2mg tablets. Soloxine is a form of levothyroxine used for animals!

- Levoxyl Tablets, (Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets, USP), 112 mcg, 100 count bottles, Rx only, Repackaged by: American Health Packaging, Columbus, OH,
- NDC 52604-5112-1. Recall # D-321-03.
- Code: Lot #024737, Exp. May 31,2004.
- 4,218 bottles are affected, and they were distributed nationwide.
