Thyroid Drugs Don't Raise Hip Fracture Risk In Older Women

A new study has found that among women 65 and older who take thyroid hormone replacement drugs, the risk of hip fracture is not increased. This should help calm down the over-anxious endos who mistakenly think that taking thyroid hormone in the first place is some huge osteoporosis risk, versus the very real, demonstrable risks of untreated or undertreated hypothyroidism!
